have you ever been called out to one of these yet, they can be one of the most dangerious calls that you can get because they are highly explosive

Ususally the reason we've ever been called to em is because they've ALREADY exploded, lol...

I was on a veg fire last summer (The French Fire) and at like 4 in the AM my engine got sent to go put out what we thought was a spot off the main fire, but noooo. We're driving up and there is this HUGE column going up, but it's not spreading, guess what it was? Structure fire...meth lab that blew up...three people had supposedly been inside (but at this point the house was completely flattened). It was pretty sweet though, got to do a little wildland, a little vehicle fire, and structure all in one sitting...lol

We've never had any that exploded, but we have been called to assist the police with lighting and such. I don't know why they have to find the damn things at 2 am. ::)

yeah its the rural areas, and its just because there are fewer people and more spread out. Our department covers 298 square miles. I am sure it would scare the crap out of me if I knew what was out there.

today the press released a map of the areas of the country with the highest amount of marijuana use. Very rural places like vermont & new hampshire topped the list
